day care of children

for today's parents

We provide plenty of feedback both through our electronic app FAMLY and face to face so that you know your child is both receiving the highest standards of quality childcare and having fun at the same time.

improvement plan

As a nursery we take improvement very seriously and as such the strategic improvement plan for this year includes identified improvements for all of the rooms, written by the staff in the rooms, we welcome the input of  parents to identify the improvements being made for their own child or children.

what the parents and children say

Don’t take our word for it. Check what the parents and children think about our service.

for today's parents

“The Ark has offered both of my children (2 and 4) a safe and incredibly caring environment where they are looked after as individuals and nurtured in a style reflective of their needs.  They do not hold a blanket approach, I trust them implicitly and the variety of learning and experiences that they offer is outstanding.  How they do it I do not know some days I wish I could stay and play instead of go to work.  Thank you for everything, especially over the last year which has been tricky but not once have I doubted you or the incredible practitioners who work there” – Victoria Murray May 2021.

bookings

Because we know that everybody’s childcare requirements differ, we offer flexibility in the sessions and hours that your child attends.

Within our bookings framework, you can vary your requirements to suit your family life, although in order for your child to settle, we ask that they attend for at least 2 sessions a week on different days.

Please ask for more details of our booking policies. Although we aim to provide care at very short notice, you will need to register your child and make a booking before they can attend their first session.
